The Site and Pavilion Planning
Site:
The site of the World Expo 2010 Shanghai is located at the riverside areas on both sides of the Huangpu River, mostly between Nanpu Bridge and Lupu Bridge. The planned land area for the Expo covers an area of 5.28 km2, of which 3.93.km2 is on the east side of the river and 1.35.km2 on the west side. The fenced-in area (into which admission ticket is required) is about 3.28 km2.
